Kristen began her professional journey in sleep medicine. As a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), and Clinical Sleep Educator, she spent over two decades diagnosing and educating patients about sleep disorders. Her work demanded a high level of attention to detail, technical skill, and patience—qualities that have translated seamlessly into the fine mechanical work of sewing machine repair. Kristen developed a love for problem-solving, often working with sensitive diagnostic equipment, and naturally carried those skills into the workshop. Her calm, methodical approach to machines reflects years of experience in patient care and precision-driven technology.
 

Kristen found herself seeking a hands-on, purpose-driven profession that would keep them connected to their values of care, precision, and service. What began as a personal hobby—restoring an old family sewing machine—quickly sparked a passion. She realized that the intricate mechanics and problem-solving involved in sewing machine repair echoed the challenges she had mastered in her medical career.

Located in Sulphur Springs, Texas, the shop offers a unique blend of clinical precision and mechanical expertise—serving everyone from hobbyists to commercial clients with the same commitment they brought to every patient and mission.
